L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur ~ Product Review
When I was about 23 I can remember having a conversation with one of my aunts about my skin. I specifically remember her telling me to start taking care of my skin while I was young....of course I didn't listen and now wish that I really had.
As a teenager and young woman I spent way too much time in the sun with no skin protection or sunglasses for that matter and I am paying the price as I move into 40's. My smile lines and what used to be tiny little lines around my eyes have turned into BIG lines around my eyes. I now pay A LOT of attention to my skin - a little late but better late than never.
I never really thought too much about primers before but now I find that it really helps my foundation go on smoother and helps it to last longer. I have a couple primers that I really like, you can read that post Here...but I have come across a new product that I am really loving.
L'oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur w/ SPF 30 has become a go to for my day to day use. Here is what the website claims for this product:
"Miracle Blur was specially formulated with a distinctive cushiony texture that instantly blurs lines, wrinkles, pores and uneven texture. This unique Finishing Cream blends seamlessly into skin so it instantly looks and feels smooth, leaving a velvet-soft matte finish.
A finishing cream in the truest sense, Revitalift Miracle Blur should be the final step in every woman’s skincare routine, applied after moisturizer. It can also be worn under foundation for smoother, more even application and wear.
Opti-Blur technology diffuses light on skin for a soft-focus effect that instantly smoothes lines and wrinkles, hides pores and minimizes little flaws and imperfections."
I have used this product for about a week now and I really do love how it feels on my skin. It's not greasy at all and a small amount covers my entire face. Here is a before picture with clean skin and moisturizer (yikes):
Here are a few pics after I have applied a layer of Miracle Blur:
You can really see that my skin is more even and my fine lines look a little softer. This is a bit on the pricey side. It retails on the L'oreal site for $24.99 but I found it at Target for $19.99. You can get this without an SPF in an oil free version and in Revitalift Moisture Blur which is a moisturizer with the same opti-blur technology. There is also a Miracle Blur Eye Moisturizer which is supposed to help with crow's feet, dark circles and puffiness. I am really interested in trying this as my eyes are extremely puffy when I wake up in the morning.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being "tossing it" and 10 being "I would buy again") I give this an 8! Even though it's on the more expensive side you use a very small amount each time so I feel like it would be long lasting.
