Mom's of Beauty ~ Naturally Soft...
This evening I had the great pleasure of doing my good friend Alyssa's makeup. The very same Alyssa from Glam It up. She is my partner in crime for all the weddings I work on. She does hair and I do makeup. We must get asked at every wedding if we have ever worked on each other and up until this point we have both said no...but now we can answer differently.
Alyssa has worked in the hair industry for the last 10 years. She started working toward her cosmetology license as a junior in high school. She was one of two girls out of a class of 25 to graduate for her state exam and hasn't stopped yet! She has worked in only 3 salons and is incredibly dedicated to her clientele...and nothing makes her happier than seeing her clients happy! Besides working in the salon 3 days week she often works on the weekends for weddings. Not only is this girl a true a go-getter...she has another full time ~ being a Mom! She is raising her adorable & sweet 8 year old son and balancing it all wonderfully.
Alyssa was going out for dinner with a few girlfriends and she wanted to be done up but still have her makeup soft & natural. Alyssa has amazing light blue almost grey eyes so I chose some soft peaches and bronzes to play up her baby blues! We kept the cheeks soft, just a touch of peach blush and of course I had to highlight those great cheeks. We finished off the look with a very light nude lipstick and gloss.
