First Impressions ~ Lancome Grandiose Mascara....

I love mascara. I'm pretty sure I have at least 8 tubes that I use all the time. It's the one beauty product that I'm constantly on the search for the PERFECT mascara. I recently was given Lancome's newest mascara - Grandiose Mascara.

This mascara has a patented "swan neck"...designed to work with the shape of your eye and make it easier to access your lashes corner to corner. 

The formula gives a glossy finish and is ultra black! It also has rose cell extract so your lashes will remain soft and less wax which helps with smudging and flaking.

As you can see my lashes are nicely separated and super black (which I LOVE!) I wore this makeup all day and my lashes were fairly soft when I went up at bedtime to wash my face. It did get a touch clumpy but only if I tried to add more than two coats. The swan curve of the brush is AWESOME! It was so easy to get into the inner corners of my eyes without stabbing myself or getting any extra product on my lid or cheek. That was my favorite part of this mascara.

This is definitely a high end mascara - retailing for $32.00. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best) I would give this an 8.5. Partly because of the price but also for the fact that my lashes did get a little bit clumpy. If you already have full lashes, but not very long or dark this would be a fabulous mascara for you to try. I have fairly long lashes but not full at all so I believe this is why mine got a little clumpy. All in all I was happy with it, although I'm not sure I would repurchase. I'm going to use it for a little while longer and see what happens.
