Spring Trends....Popsicle Lips!
It's March. Spring is weeks away. Hopefully!
And this Spring Trend is probably the one I am most excited for! Popsicle lips! Juicy Tangerine, vivid Cherry, and Fuchsia that is....well Fuchsia! Freaked out about color? No need, this trend is all about bright, transparent pops of color.
If you are ready to try this trend out be sure to get your lips ready for that dose of color. Bright shades will look best on a smooth surface, gently exfoliate your lips and smooth on a clear balm. Let it set for a few moments, then softly blot with a tissue. This will give your color a smooth base to start with.
If you want to add extra dimension use a lip liner in the same color as your lips. Fill in the lips completely and then apply lipstick as usual.
If you are not ready for a full blown bright lip try a stained lip. Dab your lipstick on with your finger and softly smudge it into the middle of your lip and then rub your lips together....you will get a soft, stained look with just a "pop" of color!
