Makeover Monday ~ Liana...
First up is the beautiful Liana!!
I met Liana a few years ago through a play group for our children and I was immediately drawn to her amazing cheekbones. When I started my free lance work I knew that some day I would do her makeup and I am so happy to finally see her in my chair.
Since Liana came over fairly early and she had some errands to run later with her daughter we kept the makeup on the soft side.
Here's what I did...
Liana has combination skin so first I primed her skin with a mattifying primer. I used one from Sephora but I am sad to say that they no longer sell it. But NYX sells a great alternative, you can purchase it here. Next I applied MAC's Face and Body Foundation in C4 and C1. I blended that in using my beloved Beauty Blender. I let that set and moved onto her eyes.
I started with her eyebrows, using Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz Pencil in Soft Brown. I then added some dimension using Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse in Taupe. Next I applied MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. I then pulled out one of my favorite palettes - The Lorac Pro Palette. I used Taupe all over the lid and blended the edges out. Next I applied Garnet over the Taupe and again blended the edges. Finally I patted Espresso onto the outer v of her eyes and blended that up into the crease, blending up softly toward the brow, and slightly on the lower lash line. Then I added a bit of black along her lash line to give her soft but defined eyes. Lastly I applied some mascara and Kiss Ever Ez False Lashes.
I set the makeup with Rimmel Stay Matte in Sandstorm. Then I contoured her cheeks with a little bit of Benefit Hoola Bronzer, and adding just a touch of Milani Blush in Luminoso. I finished up the look with Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Stargazer. Such a stunning beauty and such a sweet demeanor.
Happy Monday my beauties!!!!!!!!
