Glitter is a must for the holidays. It's everywhere ~ why not add it to your makeup routine! Glitter & Shimmer can be a little overwhelming for some but when used appropriately it can be absolutely gorgeous!

An easy way to do a little bit and not end up looking like a disco ball is to use the NYX Roll Shimmer. Not only are they super easy to use they give you just the right amount of glitter.
These little tubes are filled with finely milled loose powder and infused with tiny particles of glitter. These shadows can be used as an eye shadow or worn as a highlighter on the body and face. The texture is very soft, and easy to blend...I have noticed there can be a little bit of fall down so you may want to do your eyes first and then your foundation. You can apply this product with the roll on applicator, a brush or your fingers, and it's easily blended with both.
I have three colors; Platinum, Taupe and Chestnut. They retail for $3.99 at ULTA. There are some Targets that have started selling the NYX line, as well as some Christmas Tree Shops.

I used a touch of LORAC Eye Primer on the top row, which will help the product "stick" to the eye a bit better. The bottom row is with no primer. There are 16 available colors with a wide range of shades. These would pair well by themselves or used on top of another eye shadow or even a colored eye primer, such as the
MAC Paint Pots or the
Maybelline Color Tattoo's.
